The Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves have already tried to discuss a trade for Pau Gasol with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to sources.

The Lakers are telling teams that they will assesstherosterupon thereturnof Steve Nash.

Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon and Linas Kleiza are amongst the players the Raptors would consider moving for Gasol, according to sources.

The Wolves would love to add Gasol to form a three-man core with Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio. David Kahn would build an offer around Derrick Williams and Nikola Pekovic.

The Lakers' number one target is believed to be Ryan Anderson from the Hornets, but is considered virtually untouchable.

Love and Gasol would be sick. Love's actually had a bit of post game this year, so they might clash a bit at first but Gasol's obviously the better back to the basket player. Let Love run around the perimeter and crash the boards.

The Lakers getting Pekovic would be insane. Him and Dwight in the game at the same time would be an offensive rebound waiting to happen on every possession.

I didn't realize Lowry went off last night. It's too bad his teammates don't show up. This Raptors team should be better than 4-15. I think they'll eventually get hot, but some of the games they're losing don't make any sense. Is Casey a POS coach or something?
