Beat writer Steve Reed hears the Panthers "might be interested" in Seahawks OLB Aaron Curry.

The Panthers have been decimated by injuries to their linebackers and Curry has been demoted out of the starting lineup in Seattle. The 2009 No. 4 overall pick could likely be had cheaply ahead of the October 18 trade deadline.

Curry might be a good fit for the Panthers as well. They need some athletic players on defense that want to make plays, and that's just how Curry wants to play. It might help him come out of this depressing start to his NFL career that he's gotten. Definitely a good possibility.

Thoughts?
