Packers Sign Rodgers Through 2014 Season

AP - The Packers signed first-year starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a contract extension through the 2014 season on Friday, according to an Associated Press report.

His there guy and his been play good so far, he just made couple costly mistakes that coasted them couple games but he will be good next year. And I just want to LOL at the 49ers for not drafting him! They got OWNED!

I wouldn't say owned... They made much bigger mistakes than just Rodgers.

I'm not surprised at this at all, I just hope he continues to play the way he has to this point. So many times in sports we see players get that big contract, or that long-term contract and suddenly fall off the map. It's like they grab the money and run. I doubt it'll happen to Rodgers, too soon in his career, i just think its a bit too long, if ya ask me.

Anyone know what the salary and bonus are?

The team announced the extension after practice Friday afternoon, when Rodgers signed the paperwork. The deal is worth $65 million over six years, with $20 million guaranteed, a league source told NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

That's 10.8 per year (increases year by year though) with a 20 million bonus.
