Packers released Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila.
A stunner. This is a strong statement about KGB's declining skills considering the Packers are short on the defensive line and will still pay the nine-year veteran his complete $6.1 million salary. Gbaja-Biamila became one dimensional in recent years, and has struggled to recover from off-season knee surgery. The move could mark the end of his career, which was all played for the Packers. He has the franchse record in sacks with 74 and a half. DT Justin Harrell was activated in his place.

Wow that is crazy KGB cut! He just turned 31 in September. I think Dallas should sign him and let him rest get to 100% and he will dominate once again. KGB can play I know that for a fact the guy was drafted in 2000 and has recorded 74 sacks which is very good. I know someone will at least pick him up.

if he's so one-dimensional, why not just play him on passing downs like most good defensive teams do? or maybe they did, and he still couldn't get to the QB anymore..

so long KGB

He's taking up too much cap room, and the packers needed a run stopper. Not a situational pass rusher.

Wasnt it just two years ago when people were talking about how good of a d-lineman he was?

He'll get picked up by someone, hopefully he can get it going again.
