Packers placed CB Al Harris (knee surgery) on the reserve/PUP list.
"Al Harris is definitely getting better, he's getting close," said coach Mike McCarthy. "But he's going to have to start the season on the PUP." Well, he's not that close; Harris is out until Week 7 at the earliest. The Packers will use Tramon Williams as their starting right cornerback. Williams is a playmaking ballhawk, but it's another blow to Green Bay's secondary depth, which has become the biggest concern for the 2010 preseason's most impressive team. No one has stepped up to claim the nickel back job. Aug. 31 - 4:47 pm et

Not good news at all for the Packers. I question a few aspects of the defense for the Pack, and this isn't going to help, with the CB's being the strong point of the defense.
