Glad he is signed for at least one more year, although this is likely just going to lead to a trade involving him...
For top 6 wingers we have Hall, Eberle, Perron, Yakupov, Hemsky already. That's 5 players for 4 spots. Omark isn't big enough to play in the bottom 6.
He did dominate the Swiss league this year, that won't translate to the NHL I know but he should be coming into training camp with confidence - something Renney and Krueger have destroyed in their reign as head coaches lol
The Edmonton Oilers agreed to terms on a one-year, $600,000 deal with restricted free-agent forward Linus Omark on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old forward spent the 2012-13 season with Zug of the Swiss-A League where he amassed 17 goals and 52 assists.
Omark was drafted 97th overall in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Oilers and spent parts of two seasons in Edmonton before signing a one-year contract to play in Europe.
