Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden, who has previously said he is leaning toward retirement, has apparently made up his mind to end his pro football career, The Baltimore Sun reported.

Ogden, an 11-time Pro Bowl selection, will make the announcement on Thursday, sources close to him said, according to the report.

Ogden hyperextended his left big toe in December of 2006, and the injury limited him to 11 games last season.

"If I can't play football the way I'm used to [playing], then I'm not going to [return]," Ogden said in March, according to the Sun. He said the team knew to proceed with their offseason plans as if he would not be on the team.

Ogden, 33, was the first player the Ravens drafted after they moved from Cleveland before the 1996 season. He became a starter as a rookie and except for injury, has been a fixture at left tackle.

Read a couple times about how he was leaning towards it. Now that its official, the Ravens will need some real help filling the void he's leaving. Great lineman.

The 2013 HOF class is stacked....

Favre, Strahan, Sapp, Odgen and possibly Seau and Larry Allen (i think)
