Trail Blazers rookie center Greg Oden participated in his second consecutive practice Thursday morning, taking another step of progress in his recovery from a minor right ankle sprain. Oden, who said he "went all out" and "didn't even think about" his ankle on Thursday, has progressed so much that Nate McMillan said he thinks Oden will play in Friday night's Fan Fest at the Rose Garden.
