BREAKING: #Isles have traded Matt Moulson, their 2014 1st-round pick and a 2015 2nd-round pick to Buffalo for Thomas Vanek.


 
 
@FriedgeHNIC: FYI, there were no negotiations between NYI and Vanek prior to the trade.
 
 
So, Vanek has a year to negotiate with the Islanders but it was rumored he wanted to be go to Minnesota.
 
Could be a 1 year rental, but we'll see.
