The Denver Nuggets are reportedly offering Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried in a package to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love.
The Nuggets are also offering Arron Afflalo to be routed from the Orlando Magic to the Wolves.
The Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors are also bidding on Love.

I know it was talked about in the off-season thread, but this is certainly thread worthy.

That is quite the the fucking package for Love. If I'm Minnesota, I take that and don't even think twice about it.

I think the Nuggets draft pick was also rumored to be involved.

Faried, Chandler, Afflalo. and #11?
Makes me wish we had Love just so we could take that offer. That's potentially 4/5 of a starting lineup for one player lol.

Can't be right.

So thinking about it, what would this leave Denver with?

Lawson
Foye
Gallinari
Love
McGee

I don't think this deal is actually good. Wilson Chandler isn't as good as he once was, and Fareid and Afflalo are just a step above role players. Obviously, this isn't as awful as the Lakers/CP3 deal, but it makes no sense for a team like the Wolves.

Wouldn't shock me if it's taken though, as their president is now their coach. No conflict of interest there

Not a fan of talent for talent trades involving teams trading their stars

I want young guys and picks

Faried is young, but you dont build around him obviously

I think the Wolves just need to accept that somebody's going to bone them. They're not a big time, respected franchise, even if MSP is one of the biggest cities/metros in the country. People call Minnesota a small market but the size of the city has nothing to do with that.

The Wolves got more for Garnett than people act like, but they just weren't a good team. They're not a good team now, and they won't be a good team any time soon.

I would put everyone on the trade block (except for recent draft picks) and start over. Pek can't say healthy--see if someone will overcompensate for him. See if anyone believes in Rubio's potential enough to risk sending something nice.

Just start over, or let the team be contracted.
