Marcus Camby, Los Angeles Clippers Center, was inactive for the teams season opener Wednesday and a timetable has not been set for his return.
"Hopefully soon," said Camby, who has missed virtually all of the preseason with the flu and then a bruised right heel. "I got the (cortisone) injection last Friday and my thinking was I'm going to wake up and my foot will feel brand new, but that wasn't the case."
"I'm anxious to get started. I don't think I've ever missed an opening night in 13 years," he said. "It'll all be predicated on how I feel (today). Hopefully I can feel good, but it's tough to start out on a back-to-back, Friday and Saturday."-Hova
