Basically the Union dissolves. Players can sue owners under Antitrust Laws. Owners will impose Lockout by Midnight tonight.

They can still get those 10 years of NFL Audited books before the papers are officially sent to the NFL, meaning they can still avoid this whole mess. Doubtful though.... it probably won't happen. So basically the lockout will be imposed, and then the Players Union will file an injunction to block the Lockout. Then it goes to the courts who take matters into their own hands.

I dont know about that. They are just taking it to court to get everything settle. So there will most likely be a season now. Since its going into the courts now its in the players favor. The Owners are probably pissed lol.

no wonder there's a lockout. The fuckin Federal Mediator looks like he's 95. Probably still thinks they play with Leather Helmets.

I saw on ESPN that the big difference between the two parties is the revenue sharing. NFLPA wants 50/50 split, the owners want 55/45 split.

5-6 percent of 9 billion dollars is about 500 million, which is a lot in any other case, but it just seems so petty. I hope they all go bankrupt and lose everything.

Somewhat correct, not entirely. From what I've heard the NFL wanted $1B BEFORE taking their increased split of the revenue.

So they want $1B off the top and then split the money. And I believe the Split is:

NFLPA / NFL
60 / 40

I could be wrong though but I believe that is what it is.

Basically it came to the point of NFLPA would get 56% after that 1B off the top. So they're getting a larger percent of a smaller total amount because the Owners already get their $1B off the top.

There will be NFL this season, too much money to be made on both sides. They'll agree sometime.
