In a strange twist of events, today the NFL has officially subtracted 2 yards from Brandon Jacobs season total. During last Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills, Jacobs was initially credited with 2 extra yards following a fumble.
The change brings Jacobs' game total down to 143 from 145. Combined with, rookie, Ahmad Bradshaw's 151 yards gained on the ground, the total was the most combined rushing yards in the league since 1959.
The league's deduction of Jacobs' 2 yards nixes the feat. -AE
