I'm biased anyways but I think Minnesota did a phenomenal job in the draft. They jockeyed the #3 spot to acquire a couple of later picks...which allowed them to get Kalil and then move back into the 1st round and acquire a safety who is pretty sure to end up a stud in that secondary. Vikes had some glaring needs on the O-Line, secondary, and WR corps...and they definitely addressed each. I think they've got no less than 5 rookies who are playing right away and making an immediate impact.

I really like what Green Bay did to add to the pass rush and I think Hayward develops into potentially the most solid CB of this entire draft class. Hayward is definitely going into the perfect situation and who better to learn from for a year than Woodson?

Sorry to my Detroit homeboys but I'm not that high on their draft. Can't go wrong with Reiff but I think he's a 2nd round talent and I think Broyles doesn't do anything to make an impact. Detroit should've addressed bigger needs in the 2nd round, not WR.

I give the Bears a solid B.

McClellin, while he might not be the guy Bears fans originally wanted, he is the guy the coaching staff wanted. Just because he is a white boy from the middle of nowhere doesn't mean he should be written off. McClellin has just as much potential as any of the other DE taken in the middle/end of the first round and I wouldn't be surprised if he takes over the starting role from Idonije fairly quickly. Many believe he was better suited for a 3-4, and while that may be the case, at 6'3" 260lbs he does have the size to play DE in a 4-3.

Jeffery was a great pick IMO. This was a guy Phil Emery wanted and it's obvious, because they moved up 5 spots and dealt away their 5th round pick to get him Jeffery gives Cutler another big target and with Marshall on the other side, he's not going to be in the pressure situation a lot of top rookie WR's are in. The Bears haven't had big receivers like this in forever... It's gonna be nice to see Jay have some weapons in the red zone, rather than having to throw to midget receivers like Hester, Knox and Sanzenbacher.

Hardin was a surprise pick to a lot of experts, because he missed the entire season, but he has the size and speed to excel in the Bears defense. Hardin played corner in college, but he is expected to challenge Major Wright for the SS spot and be a key contributor on special teams.

Rodriguez is an intriguing prospect. He might not have been the best TE on the board, but his skill set is something that could provide a lot to the Bears offense. Since dealing away Greg Olsen, the Bears have lacked a pass catching TE. Rodriguez compares himself to Aaron Hernandez, hopefully he can be half the player Hernandez is.

Frey and McCoy should battle it out with Jonathan Wilhite for the 5th and 6th cornerback spots on the roster. Both will need to show that they can play special teams, as the Bears lost key contributors Corey Graham and Zack Bowman from the special teams unit. McCoy is also expected to see time as a kick returner due to the injury to Johnny Knox.
