The Brooklyn Nets have received a $5.25 million Disabled Player Exception from the NBA.
The exception, granted due to the injury to Brook Lopez, expires on March 10.
If the Nets used the full $5.2 million exception, it would cost an additional $20 million.
The Nets have a full roster, so they would need to clear a spot to use the exception.
