The Nets beat the Hawks last night with a strong game from Brook Lopez, 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks, a career night thus far for him. 26 points from Vince Carter and 30 from Devin Harris. The Hawks were 6-1 coming in and the Nets got into a scoring fest with the offensively prolific team and won. Tonight the Nets are playing the Hawks once again on the second half of a back to back and are currently up 100-82. The Nets will now move to 4-2 while Devin Harris plays, although they were stuck without him, playing 0-3 basketball without the starting point guard. Devin Harris's career high before this year started was 27 and he has reached 30 in each of the last 3 games he has player. He has looked flat out unstoppable driving to the hoop, as he either gets the easy lay in or gets fouled. Vince Carter has continued to look like a flat out leader and has shown maximum effort and intensity which is something he was missing in previous years. The rookie tandem of Brook Lopez and Ryan Anderson has been impressive of late. Keyon Dooling has shown why Rod Thorn was going after him for 3 years. Jarvis Hayes has been gigantic off the bench providing another scoring option. And most importantly the team looks defensively sound and doesn't give up any easy points. As believed by some fans, this Nets team could be a lot better than expected by certain ESPN experts (Predicted to be last in the eastern conference by ESPN). The Nets continue to look brilliant and i expect more of the same the rest of the season.
Expect Devin Harris in the all star game, he is a wolf.
