leading Spanish basketball blog reports Tuesday that Mirza Teletovic, the 6'9" Bosnian stretch forward, has a multi-year agreement in place with the Nets. The site, Encestando, did not disclose how much money Teletovic will earn in the NBA. He recently reached an agreement to buy out his Spanish League club, Caja Laboral, for $2.5 million.

"It’s over now, Mirza Teletovic's time on stage in the ACB," reports Javier Maestro. ACB is the acronym for the Spanish League. "The Bosnian player has already reached an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets to play in the NBA and the coming years. Barcelona tried a couple of weeks to prevent his departure, but ... it seems that its march to the American League was his choice."

The Nets have convinced Mirza Teletovic to take the mini taxpayer mid-level exception.

Teletovic's first season salary will be just over $3 million. Teletovic's initial deal was believed to be worth $15 million over three seasons.

The change in contract will improve the chances of the Nets to acquire Dwight Howard
