I have looked at some possibilities for the Nets to explore. First off I'd like to mention, the Nets can spend as much as they want as long as it is only on a 2 year contract and it will not affect a single thing about getting Lebron in 2010.

Anyway, you want names, so here are the names they called about today, all confirmed by the agents themselves:
# Bigs - Krstic, Kwame Brown (go figure), and (term used loosely here) Eddie Najera.
# Wings - Pietrus, Posey, Nachbar, Matt Barnes, Devean George, Jarvis Hayes.
# Smalls - Roger Mason Jr., Dooling, Pargo.
Guys they haven't called (yet) that they probably should - J.R. Smith, Kelenna Azubuike, Tony Allen, James Jones, Andris Biedrins, Brian Skinner.
From what we can gather, the discussions for Posey and J.R. will be fruitless. They're not settling for fewer than four years.
