3600 minutes per 75 regulation games
371 minutes per 7 regulation + OT games (I picked 7 OT games randomly, but I know it's not out of the ballpark)

3971 total minutes (roughly) per each team every year.

That is a lot of minutes to spread around a rotation of at least 8 and injuries and fatigue happen. Expand rosters.

Cool for the fringe guys

And since they arent going to shorten the schedule do to MONEY, the next best thing is limiting B2B's like this year, 4 in 5 nights, and expanding rosters so teams could more easily rest guys

I think 15 guys is already a lot for an NBA team.

I'm curious what percentage of teams use all the players on their roster (healthy) per week or per month.  A lot of times those fringe guys get stuck on the bench for a long time.

its also projected that every team will have their own d-league affiliate in 3-4 years. when/of that happens, id be fine with expanded rosters but 17 seems to be too much.

i know the pistons use our d-league pretty good. we'll send dinwiddie and hillard down every other game it seems like. adding more players on the main roster for that reason alone is worth it. when players start ring chasing though, thats when it'll get tough to stomach imo
