Still won't get rid of it completely but I like the back jumping flagrant addition. that was just ridiculous.

While I understand that hack-a-whoever does not make for good basketball, it's definitely a strategic advantage. Dudes need to learn to shoot free throws, plain and simple.

I think this topic really just matters whether or not you have a Drummond on your favorite team or not. Those who don't obviously don't want the rule changed, and those who do clearly want change.
 
I do think it is a cheap strategy though and it also makes for a putrid watch. 
I suppose this is a small step in the right direction, but as buzzy said this isn't going to come anywhere near stopping it.

Definitely matters for every team with a sub-.500 free throw shooter lol

Well, this seems like a minimalist approach to fixing the problem. I do like the application of an intentional foul on fouls committed when the ball is not in play. That one always flummoxed me.
