MVP:
Lebron James

Stats: 26.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 6.6 APG, 2.0 SPG, 1.0 BPG
Reason: Kobe has the deepest team in the NBA, KG has Pierce and Ray Allen, Lebron's supporting cast? Mo Williams and Wally Szerbiack. Plus, 2nd in points, 10th in assists, 8th in steals.
Runner-up: Dwight Howard (Magic 15-5, Dwight first in blocks and rebounds while scoring 21 PPG)
Name to look out for: Chris Bosh - If Raptors start winning, his stats are right there.

ROTY:
Derrick Rose

Stats: 18.7 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 5.9 APG, 1.1 SPG
Reason: OJ might be a focal point for Grizz, but all around Rose is leading the Bulls, living up to the hype. This race should tighten as the year goes on though to.
Runner Up: OJ Mayo (1st among rookies in scoring, over 21 PPG, 1.3 SPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.3 APG)
Name to look out for: ZOMG! Greg Oden

MIP:
Devin Harris

Stats: 24.2 PPG, 6.0 APG, 3.5 RPG, 1.2 SPG (14.8 PPG, 5.8 APG, 1.4 SPG last year)
Reason: As a Maverick fan trust me this is hard, but he's averaging 10 more PPG then last year, and is leading the Nets who weren't supposed to do anything till they moved to Brooklyn. But Devin Harris, simply put, is owning.
Runner-Up: Andris Biedrins (15 PPG, 12 RPG, ASG for the Latvian?)
Name to look out for: John Salmons - Kings are terrible, Salmons has been one of the lone bright spots, and the Kings aren't going anywhere, if anything his stats will go up.

DPOTY:
Dwight Howard

Stats: 21.5 PPG, 14.5 RPG (9.6 DRPG), 4.1 BPG
Reason: No explanation needed really
Runner-up: Dwayne Wade (2.4 SPG, 1.7 BPG, he doesn't only score)
Name to look out for: How bout the defensive legend Marcus Camby?

6th Man:
Jason Terry

Stats: 20.3 PPG, 1.6 SPG, 3.9 APG, 2.4
Reason: No bias here. 20 PPG off the bench? 1.6 steals off the bench? Has probably been the Mavericks best player actually.
Runner-up: Nate Robinson (Giving the Knicks about 14 PPG, and 1.6 SPG, being like the Knicks version of Leandro Barbosa for D'Antoni)
Name to look out for: Manu Ginobli - He's Baaack

COTY:
Lawrence Frank

Team's Record: 10-8
Reason: Honestly, with the Nets roster at the beginning of the Season, who thought they would be sitting ahead of Philly, and have already proven they can beat and play with Western powers.
Runner-up: Mike Brown (Call them the Lebrons if you want, but they are a force to be reckoned with. 16-3. Everyone knew they would be good, but this good?
Name to look out for: Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers. If either team gets to Bulls '96 record

Comeback Player:
Nene

Reason: From 12 PPG, to having a scare of cancer, and coming back and struggling, to now leading the NBA in FG%, and is averaging 15 PPG and 7 RPG for the Nuggets

My NBA All-First Team:

Center: Dwight Howard
Power Forward: Chris Bosh
Small Forward: Lebron James
Shooting Guard: Dwayne Wade
Point Guard: Chris Paul

Yeah Wade has been incredible...

But Kobe is winning. And that is always a factor

Especially when Wade has been carrying a very young miami team and averaging over 25 points and basically keeping them in each game

Idk how much bias is in this statement, but I dont think Lebron will win it over Kobe and you basically said it yourself, Lebron has no one, which is why he gets more touches and has inflated stats. If he can do it with reknown skill players on his team he gets it. Kobe puts up good stats while playing with guys like Odom, Bynum, and Gasol who could probably hold teams down by themselves, we know Gasol can and has.

But Lebron has no one and has them at like 16-3.

Theyve lost more than 3 games havent they? IDK. But the Lakers have lost 2 and Kobe is still being Kobe, just more comfortable because the Lakers can hold their own.

Nah, they are exactly 16-3. Just checked. And that proves that Lebron deserves it. In your statement you said Lebron has no one else, but look at him carry his team to win after win. Kobe didnt do that when he didnt have anyone else.

Alright I was unaware of that. Also, the Lakers of 04-05 were the last time I'd consider them to have no one. I bet the Cavs of now own the Lakers of then.

Also, the rest of the Cavs dont get as much credit as they deserve. Illgauskas is an all star who more than capable of putting up good numbers each night. Sczerbiak and West are above average players. Daniel Gibson can bust ass and so can Mo Pete. JJ Hickson is an impact rookie for them. They just dont get enough credit because they play with Lebron.

Didnt you just say that Lebron's stats were inflated because he has no one on his team though?
I never said he had no one, I was using what you had said...

Im going off what was implied above. You can see what Im talking about. And yes I did say that. How about I rephrase it, Lebron's stats are inflated because he has an underrated team and he takes over without letting them handle the game. With good reason too, when he doesnt they lose

Get off kobe nuts sheldon and give Lebron his due. He isnt playing with a Pau Gasol or bynum. He has mo williams and big z. And he still has them at 16-3.

Your up in here hating on bron. Stop hating Kobe has his mvp. You can calm down. Its obvious so far that Lebron is the mvp. You always wanna be different just shut the fukk up sometimes and give a dude his credit. Bron has been the mvp its not hard to see. God i swear half the LA fans are nothing but kobe nut riders.
