MSG Crowd To Nash: We Don't Want You

New York Rangers fans have made it known where they stand on Rick Nash.

Rumoured to be headed to the Big Apple before the NHL trade deadline Feb. 27, Nash was serenaded with a chant of "We don't want you" from the Madison Square Garden faithful when the Columbus Blue Jackets visited on Sunday. The vocal outburst came after Nash scord his 19th goal of the season with less then two minutes left in regulation.

"That's the reception you're going to get in any building if you score in the last minute, to tie it up on the road," Nash said. "It was an exciting game and a tough one, and we were lucky to get one point."

The Ranger have been one of the teams reportedly pursuing Nash. Columbus general manager is believed to be holding out for a package that includes an impact NHLer, two top prospects and a first-round pick for the 27-year-old forward.

Lol I love it. No way should they mess with the team and what they have built this year. Is he more talented then say a Brandon Dubinksy? Absolutely. But it takes more then just skillful players to win a championship, and the Rangers have shown that with a completely unified team with an amazing work ethic that should not be tampered with.
