Former NBA big man Moses Malone has died at the age of 60.
Nicknamed "Chairman of the Boards" and "Big Mo", Malone's impact on the NBA was undeniable.
He was one of the first basketball players to enter the NBA directly from high school - paving the way for the likes of Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
Malone played for nine teams - including brief stints with two ABA teams at the beginning of his pro career - retiring, at age 39, in 1995 as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.
A highly-decorated player in his own right, the 3-time league MVP and 12-time All-Star was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001.
