The Charlotte Hornets have acquired Mo Williams and Troy Daniels from the Minnestoa Timberwolves for Gary Neal,
League sources previously told RealGM that they were on the verge of an agreement.
The Hornets need help at point guard with Kemba Walker injured. Williams is averaging 12.2 points and 6.4 assists per game this season for the Wolves.
The Wolves will attempt to flip Neal in another trade before the deadline, sources tell RealGM.

Oh thank God. Mo's a good player but Zach Lavine needs minutes to keep improving.

I really liked Zach's game in that previous one against us. I don't watch him play or anything, but the kid seems like he has a future in the league.

Got us somebody capable of dropping 50 now...

nah good move for Charlotte, Neal was solid, but jacked up too many shots. I dont think he an Lance got along either.

Plus Mo and BigAl are best friends.

His potential reminds me of Russ. I hate to draw an early comparison for a bench rookie to one of the best players in the league, but I love how similar they are. Athletic freaks who can jump out of the gym, and Zach is developing a 3 point shot much like young Russ was. He won't be Westbrook, but I can see a lot of Westbrook in him if he gets anywhere near his ceiling.

Folks, please don't overreact to this post. I don't think Zach Lavine is in the same ballpark at all. I just think that if he meets his full potential, he will remind people of Westbrook.

I do agree. Similar playing style to Westbrook.

Chris Webber agrees too lol.

Good deal for Charlotte, they need someone to replace Kemba while they're still in the playoff hunt and he's out.
