I am posting in the NFC North if it was not here I would not use it. It is SPECIFICALLY made for Vikings, Packers, Bears and Lions if it was for the whole NFL I would.

Williams Wall expected to break up

The Vikings of the last six years weren’t defined by their rotating quarterbacks or even Adrian Peterson, but the massive run-stopping force of Pat Williams and Kevin Williams in the middle of their defense.

With Pat Williams a free agent after the season, it’s expected that the Williams Wall will finally be broken up.

“From Day 1, we’ve been best friends, practically brothers from the jump,” said Kevin Williams via the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “Those things just made us closer and just appreciate each other even more.”

Opponents hated facing the Williams Wall, but all good things must end. Pat Williams, 38, wants to play for a contender. The Vikings were easier to run on this season and they limited Pat Williams’ playing time at the end of the season.

We’d say that Pat Williams could be at the end of his career, but we remember people saying that when he left Buffalo. In 2004.

Sad but most likely true. When Pat announced that he was gonna play 2 more seasons, I had assumed that he'd take a fair deal and finish it out in Minnesota. After reading recent commens of both Williamses, its become more and more evident this will not be the case.
