The Memphis Grizzlies will be without starting center Darko Milicic for four to six weeks as he recovers from a broken knuckle on his right ring finger, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported.

Milicic sustained the injury after scoring a season-high 14 points against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. It comes just as Milicic was playing his best basketball of the season, having scored in double figures in five of his last seven games.

Coach Marc Iavaroni said the rest of the Grizzlies frontcourt will have to step up in Milicic's absence, according to the Commercial Appeal.

"[Hakim [Warrick's] got to step up. Marc Gasol's got to step up. Darrell Arthur, another rookie, has got to step up," Iavaroni said, according to the report. "We're back to starting three youngsters a lot. It'll be one of those things where we'll have to really galvanize. Everybody has to go through it."

Milicic, in his sixth NBA season, has averaged 9.7 points per game on 56 percent shooting and 6.3 rebounds per game in last seven games.
Poor Darko, he was actually have a godo season somewhat stat-wise.
