I'll admit I've always underestimated Conley but he was tremendous this postseason, and he's definitely someone I'll be keeping a closer eye on next season. I like how that pointed out his attempts at being a better finisher in the lane. If he can keep on improving there, he'll have more confidence going in to the paint and maybe that will result in more trips to the line.

It's also good that he's got that killer instinct and wants the ball for the last shot. And he can be a closer late in the game both offensively and defensively.

Dude has really made another step every year he's been in the league. It's been a slow progression, but he's turning into a stud.

I would argue that Mike Conley is the second best pure/traditional PG in the league behind CP3. He's obviously not top 5 as far as players that start at the PG position are concerned, but still.

And yes, I would take him over Rondo.

He's an excellent floor general, but doesn't get the assist numbers. (Not a knock, just an observation)
He reminds me of Chauncey honestly.

Conley?

That kind of surprises me, because Conley has never seemed even remotely selfish, whereas Chauncey came off as a very selfish player early in his career.

And I would say he doesn't get the assists because so much of the offense runs through Marc Gasol at the high post.

Chauncey during his Detroit days. Was an excellent floor general, but never was a high assist guy minus a couple years.
