mavs harris out 2-3 weeks

DALLAS -- Mavericks guard Devin Harris will miss at least 2-3 weeks with a bone bruise on his left ankle.

Harris was injured when he landed awkwardly on a hard drive to the basket early in the fourth quarter of a 90-85 victory against Denver on Sunday. He didn't travel for Dallas' game Monday at Memphis.



An MRI performed Monday showed no additional damage to the ankle.



In his first year as the full-time starter at point guard, Harris is averaging career highs of 14.4 points and 5.3 assists per game. He's shooting 48 percent from the field, including a career-best 36 percent from 3-point range

sucks for harris hes been playing real well i wonder how dallas is going to fair with out him playing and this brings up the question will this make them want to try and trade for jason kidd more now unless harris was in the offer they was going to offer the nets

jet will just have to lose the chance to win it if cuban and the head coach tell him he'll start if not so he can keep his chance to win 6th man of the year what will they do ? start jj Barea who only has 4 points and 1 assist per game in 8 mintues of play time

or try to sign Damon Stoudamire who looks to be headed to boston if so they'll have to pay him more cash they they wanted to and if they do pick him up its for only half a season so thats a huge waste .
