Not even two hours after the Toronto Raptors announced they had released Peja Stojakovic following an undisclosed contract buyout, the Mavs have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Peja to bring him to Dallas as soon as he clears waivers.

Appearing in only eight games this season — six with New Orleans, two with Toronto — Peja is averaging 8.1 points on 48 percent shooting from the field and 48 percent beyond the arc in just under 15 minutes a night.
Via Dime.

Dag the Mavs are quick lol

his numbers aren't too bad, especially in 10 games. I wonder exactly why the guy is getting 0 playing time.

I'd have to expect him to get a solid 8-12 minutes per game off the bench. Guy can still hit the 3 when he wants -- thats always a dangerous weapon.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for the Mavericks, and they get him for extremely cheap too. He might be able to at least lessen the blow that was losing Caron Butler for the whole year.

I think he could be a decent pickup... He hasn't really been given a chance this season, but the two previous years he was playing 30+ MPG, scoring around 13 PPG and still stroking the 3.

Not sure how much Peja has left, but they say you don't lose a jumpshot.

He is coming off of injuries, thats why he didn't get much PT.
