Mavs Exercise Option On Ager

The Mavericks also exercised a third year contract option on guard Maurice Ager. Selected by the Mavericks in the first round (28th overall pick) of the 2006 NBA Draft, Ager averaged 2.2 points last season.

Ager sucks

He did pretty good in the pre-season....better then Mbenga. But Mbenga didn't see the time Ager did.

What's wrong with Ager? He scored more then Dirk did in the loss to GS last season ;D

He shoots way to much when he is out there and way to streaky, usually more cold and off then good which is not often.

Also Ager is a better scorer but Mbenga is better at everyting else compared to Ager. Defense, rebounding, toughness.

Yea well....look who made the team. I thought Ager did well in the preseason.

Ager was really off-and-on, he had like 1 or 2 good preseaon games then the rest he shot like 2-10 in all of them it seemed. Ager just takes to many shots and doesn't make them. Mbenga is more of what we need and was more of a fan favorite and brough more.

Well Kobe ends up shooting like 11 for 30....would you say he shoots way to much?
