Adam Schefter/ESPN.com - After 11 NFL seasons, quarterback Marc Bulger has decided to retire from football.

Bulger, a two-time Pro Bowler, spent time with the Rams and Ravens.

"I am grateful to all my former teammates, coaches and my family," Bulger said. "I have a special place in my heart for coach [Mike] Martz for giving me an opportunity.

"Moving forward, I'm excited to continue doing work through my foundation to help the men and women in uniform who risk their lives everyday so we can enjoy the game of football."

Bulger was a top 5 QB in the league in his prime. How quick people forget.

The guy could probably still start for a few teams in the league today.
