According to a report from the San Antonio Express-News on Tuesday morning (October 30), Ginobili isn't even traveling with the team due to a sore back.
Back spasms cost Ginobili four of the eight preseason games that the Spurs played, so it's not entirely surprising that he is still dealing with it. What will be frustrating, though, is that fantasy basketball owners are going to have to start the season without a player that started out the 2011-12 season as one of the most valuable in all formats.
