http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/07/20/peyton-manning-will-not-be-ready-for-the-start-of-camp/related/Peyton Manning has more to think about these days than antitrust litigation and a new contract. He has to get healthy fast.
Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star reports that Manning will not be ready to fully participate in training camp when it opens because of neck surgery done earlier this offseason.
“A source familiar with Manning’s health situation said Tuesday that Manning will not be able to participate at the outset, and at this point, there’s no way of knowing how much time he might miss. It could be a week. It could be a couple of weeks. Or even most, or all, of training camp,” Kravitz writes.
This could be a problem for the Colts, I heard yesterday that Manning hasn't been able to put in the work he does during this offseason because of his surgeries. Even at the Passing Academy he couldn't throw the ball.
