Magglio Ordonez has decided to retire.

The 38-year-old former Tigers and White Sox outfielder plans to announce his retirement on Sunday before Detroit plays the Yankees.

The six-time All-Star struggled through 92 games last season with a surgically repaired right ankle.

Will be missed. Was great for most of his time in a Tigers uniform.

I thought he already retired. Not surprised though, didn't think he had anything left in the tank. All the years have beaten him down.

Kudos to him on a good career. Seeing the Tigers play won't be the same.
