From realgm.com
The mistakes have been few for Orlando's Keith Bogans since a dubious start to the preseason. The expected battle for the starting shooting-guard slot has mostly fizzled because of injuries to J.J. Redick (hand), Trevor Ariza (foot) and Keyon Dooling (groin). But even if those players had been healthy it would be hard to imagine them playing much better this preseason than Bogans.

The 6-foot-5 guard has done everything Stan Van Gundy has asked of him, whether it's guarding the likes of LeBron James, Joe Johnson and Jason Richardson or knocking down open shots. Bogans shot a stellar 54.3% from the floor this preseason while also making a staggering 13 of 22 tries (59.1 percent) from three-point range.

So Bogans has overcome the early barbs from Van Gundy, and these days there's nothing but praise for arguably the Magic's grittiest player.

"He's our best perimeter defender, there's not much question about that," Van Gundy said. "He's a very good rebounder on a team that needs rebounding. And he's shot the ball unbelievably. He's done everything we could have hoped for. He's gotten himself in great shape and he's playing well."

Interesting.....thoughts CC? My guess is Reddick will get a lot of minutes though, and maybe come to start a while in.

Hmmm I'm not surprised, Redick struggled over the last several preseason games and missed the last few due to injury. Like the article said, Bogans played great D in the preseason, and that's SVG's style I guess. I still with Donovan would've been our coach because then Redick would be starting for sure.

Bogans isn't really a great player though, I can definetly see Redick filling in for him midway through the season. I like this move through a defensive standpoint, but offensive wise Bogans is nothing. I know he'll be starting, but I expect Redick to get a lot of playing time off the bench, especially late in games where his three can win the ballgame for the team.

Is that basically the nice way to say that he blows, and doesn't deserve to start yet?

What was he hyped up to be? Since he's came into the league, 75% of America thought he would be <Censored> in the NBA. He's going to be a starting NBA player by the end of the season, that's something only 150 people in the world can say...

I'm tired of you being ignorant and only having something positive to say when it's used to overrate your team...

I know you said you respected them...but pointing out you have a Duke poster means nothing. I have a Lamborghini poster in my room and I still prefer Ferrari ;)

Good job on making up numbers. Another example of posts that you make stuff up saying things that are not true. Do you have proof "75% of America thought he would be <Censored> in the NBA." ???

If so, (which you dont) show us.
