Kevin Love's first foray into NBA postseason play may be finished after only four games.

Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin said Tuesday that it's highly unlikely the polarizing power forward will be able to return from a dislocated left shoulder before the playoffs are out, and that surgery is an option.

"I don't want there to be any expectation on Kevin he'll be back," Griffin said, according to TNT's Rachel Nichols.

Really sucks to see a guy wait so long to make the postseason then see this take place. I feel for him.

Does this make his return to Cleveland any more or less likely next season?

the only way love doesn't stay imo, is it Lebron wants Aldridge over him

Well, Love will be missed, and we're down on our luck, but there's only one thing left to do

I love how there are articles that state this injury hurt the celtics chances.

Lmao, there was no chance to begin with. You think Love would go to the Celtics to battle Lebron for the next 5 years? Cmon man...

Cavaliers forward Kevin Love underwent successful surgery this afternoon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City to repair his dislocated left shoulder. The surgery was performed by Dr. David W. Altchek. Continuing treatment and rehabilitation at Cleveland Clinic Courts and Cleveland Clinic Sports Health will be conducted by the Cavaliers medical staff and Head Team Physician Dr. Richard D. Parker. His projected recovery time is four to six months.

I know this sounds weird but I think this makes Kevin Love side with staying in cleveland because he has unfinished business. Hes going to see from the sidelines the Cavs make it to the finals and its going to motivate him to stay.

The league really fucked up Olynyk's suspension.

does it really matter? I don't really care if he got a 5 game suspension; the games are the beginning of the year, when it doesn't matter

I still believe it was not intended to be malicious and that Kelly really is that bad at holding someone, and that a 1 game suspension is as high as it should go, but it doesn't really even matter
