Kevin Kolb revealed that coach Andy Reid texted, "I'll do what's best for you" once the lockout is lifted.
What Kolb wants most is his own starting gig. "It's a big deal to me," Kolb said. "That's the next step for me. That's what I look forward to doing." National and local reports have suggested for months that Kolb will be traded this offseason as long as the price is right. The smart money is on Arizona.
&

ESPN's John Clayton is the latest national voice to predict the Cardinals will "end up moving boldly to acquire Kevin Kolb."
"If they can't get him," writes Clayton, "they will trade a little less to get Kyle Orton from the Broncos." Clayton sets the Kolb odds as follows: Cardinals 2-1, Seahawks 10-1, Dolphins 100-1, and Browns 1,000-1. Seattle may stay involved long enough to drive up the price on their division rivals, but they're considered far less likely to give up a first-round pick for Kolb.
I see the Cardinals getting Kolb, Dolphins getting Palmer and Seahawks getting Orton.

Rick Mirer says HI!

Was the 2nd overall pick to the Seahawks, Busted there.. Traded to the Bears for a 1st round pick I believe.

Was said to be the next Joe Montana.

Palmer isn't getting traded. Mike Brown has publicly came out and said that....this week. A lot can change from now to then when business can actually get going, but either way, I don't see him getting traded.

Mike Brown isn't THAT stupid.

Carson isn't going to come back. You can either trade the guy and get picks, or let him retire and get nothing. Hes still holding out hope that Palmer is showing up.

The reason why the Dolphins didn't draft a QB is because they felt confident that they're going to get Palmer VIA Trade.

According to ESPN's Stats & Info, Kevin Kolb has thrown a "near-interception" every 3.9 pass attempts on third down.
Kolb has 75 career pass attempts on third down -- a small sample size -- and 19 have been defensed. His 96.0 passer rating against base defenses drops to 66.4 when he sees five or more defensive backs. This is yet another reason why we'd prefer to see Kyle Orton end up in Arizona. The Cardinals offense faced at least five defensive backs on 54 percent of plays last season.
Pick 6 for errybody.

Don't be so sure now. Chad demanded a trade a few years ago where I believe the the Redskins offered a deal you just can't pass up and he ended up declining it. When he says something, he generally means it. He doesn't want to give into players demands of trades. I won't be surprised at all if he just lets him retire without getting any kind of compensation. I think people really underestimate how horrible Brown is when it comes to football management.

Yeah, I know about the redskins shit.
Chad also plays games alot, Carson doesn't. Chad didn't say Trade me or I retire, Carson did.

In Mike Brown's eyes, I don't think it makes any difference. In a situation like this, you should be shocked if Carson isn't traded. But I'd be even more shocked if he was. Which is very sad.

If Kolb were to be traded, I can see either Arizona or Seattle fighting over him.
