Thoughts on the 2002 MLB Draft?

Pretty nice draft here in the first round.

Wish I knew who Scott Moore was too lol.

Randy Smith might be the worst GM I've ever seen lol. I believe this was his last draft class.

I laughed when I saw Russ Adams. Wow that guy was a bust.
But yeah this is a pretty legit class. Not the best though.

As for Tigers fans. I've literally never heard of any of the 3 players we drafted.

If it's the same Scott Moore, he was a 3B prospect for the Cubs a few years ago. We got him from Detroit in the Kyle Farnsworth trade. He was suppose to be alright, but I think we traded him to Baltimore for Steve Trachsel, so I'm not sure where he's at now.

Lot of young talent in here, most people actually know who half of the people in this class are.

Looking back on all these drafts, the Mets are just retarded.... Cain, Loney, Span, and Hamels...

When healthy Scott Kazmir is a great pitcher. He played a majority of his career in the tough AL East, so I think we havent heard the last of him yet. Carlos Pena said that out of all the Rays starters he has seen Kazmir had the best stuff on the team. And thats a team that had Garza, Shields, Jackson, and Price.
