The Lakers offered Pau Gasol to the Warriors in exchange for a package centered around Stephen Curry, according to a source. Curry, presumably, would have winded up with the Hornets as part of the Lakers’ three-way trade involving Chris Paul.
Ekpe Udoh, Klay Thompson, and Dorell Wright are also believed to have been targeted by the Lakers.
A Warriors source disclosed the Gasol-for-Curry offer, adding that it was swiftly rejected.
