According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Leonard Little may soon be available where defensive lineman are sold near you. Rams defensive coordinator Jim Haslett has gone to more 3-man front in pass rushing situations, shying away from the 4-man fronts of the past. With Little being lost for the season, Will Witherspoon has been used to rush the edges.
Witherspoon, who usually plays at weak-side linebacker, has flourished at the position and currently leads the team with 7 sacks for the season.
2008 will be Little's 10th season in the NFL and all with the Rams. A pro-bowler in 2003, Little signed a 3-year extension with the Rams in 2006. -AE
