MLive.com - The Lions reportedly tried to trade for Jay Cutler last month and if the Broncos revisit dealing the quarterback, Detroit is expected to get involved once again.

It's possible that Denver could take the 20th overall pick from the Lions for Cutler, and that they'll wait to see if they can select a quarterback with that pick.
How sweet would that be.

That would be sweet, and that way, we could go for another need at #1 pick, instead of QB, like LB, or Olineman.

Would never happen. Cutler is worth way more then the 20th pick and he wont be dumped off for it.

I don't know why every says it won't happen. Cutler is obviously not happy there..

It's unlikely, but doesn't mean it has no chance.

Actually...some situational BS I've read claimed that the Broncos wouldn't want the #1 overall pick b/c they wouldn't be willing to tack on the major salary of whoever the #1 overall pick would be. It would be much more cost-effective to either maintain Cutler or deal him for a mid-late 1st round pick & additional picks/players.

I highly doubt this happens, however I think a good trade would be Jay Cutler for the 20th overall pick and a fourth round selection (I would say third but the Lions 4th is like a late 3rd).

Sanchez could definitely be available at the 20th pick, or even Stafford.. interesting if they decide to do this
