The team announced Monday that Frazier had been fired. The Vikings went 4-3-1 in their final eight games, but it wasn't enough.
Frazier finishes 21-32-1 in three plus seasons as Vikingscoach, including a 3-13 mark in 2011, his first full season as head coach He took over as interim head coach for Brad Childress midway through the 2010 season.
Frazier's tenure was marked by an inability to develop a quarterback. This season, he struggled just to choose between Christian PonderMatt Cassel, and Josh Freeman. Even more damning: Frazier's defense badly declined in 2013, giving up more points than any team in football.

I wanted Frazier back in Minnesota, but his refusal to fire at least one of his coordinators in season is what doomed him. People were calling for Bill Musgrave to lose his job all season, and those of us frustrated with Minnesota's soft ass defensive schematics were also calling for the firing of Alan Williams. Frazier got cold feet about firing either. Now, it's not the most convenient situation in the world, but firing assistants in season is something that most HCs are going to have to do during their tenures with a franchise. I think Frazier's flat out refusal to dump Musgrave may have led the Wilfs to believe that he just wasn't cut out for the HC position.

The Cowboys are very open to hiring Leslie for their DC position.

This came about two years late. He has always been a terrible head coach; got bailed out last year by AP being ridiculous.
