ESPN - Titans rookie running back LeGarrette Blount capped a feisty Wednesday night practice with a short punch to the helmet of defensive end Eric Bakhtiari.

Blount had his own helmet ripped off for the second time in as many plays right before throwing the punch.

"He apologized, and I said he didn't have to apologize," coach Jeff Fisher said. "It's football. It's training camp."

Blount was suspended by the University of Oregon for eight games of last season for punching Boise State defensive end Byron Hout after a game on Sept. 3.
He should become a boxer.

LOL.

I hear Dana White is looking for new talent in the UFC. Give him a chance.

This is no big deal. Its training camp.
I agree completely. This stuff happens all the time, it just so happens he did this before in college.
The media is going to blow this way out of proportion though.

For the record, Blount is a bad ass MOFO.

Of course it will be overblown. That is just what the media does to just about every situation. We have Blount throwing a punch in a non-meaningful environment (Training Camp) but we got Percy passing out on the sideline, in a bad situation. Of course we should be focused on one situation more than the other. Please media, keep the news real..

Lol no no no, this isn't "no big deal". I agree that it's only training camp and people get mad, but THIS GUY should definitely know better than to lose it like that. I mean, this pretty much shows he's learned nothing from being suspended. I mean I honestly wouldn't really care if it was someone else, but this dude almost lost his hopes of becoming an NFL player after punching someone, so I just don't understand how he could ever think about doing something like that again. He's a <Censored>ing moron in my book, I'm sorry. He's just lucky it was in training camp.

Yezzir has a point, it may have been training camp and the guy might have had his helmet on, but Blount's reputation, he should be on his best behaviour. But I have a feeling the punch wasn't actually a punch.

Also true, which would obviously change things.

Its just training camp, although this shouldnt be happening to this guy specifically since he has had a prior history.

What he said.

It's clear he snaps easily and then takes out his anger with punches.. Not a good thing.

But for Yezzir and Cheato you guys obviously missed the point. It's not about a fight happening, it's about a guy that snaps easily and uses violence way to brashly.
