Danny Ferry is in the final year of a contract that pays him a base salary of approximately $2 million. Though he's had talks about a contract extension, there is nothing official in place.
Ferry has been the runner-up in Executive of the Year voting in each of the past two seasons, but if owner Dan Gilbert wants significant changes, he may not re-sign.
Never knew Dan was on the Cavaliers, never saw him on the court before. Maybe its just me.... his two million dollar contract doesn't really affect the salary cap though. In my opinion....
