Leafs continuing search for #1 goaltender

Doug McIntyre/ESPN - The Leafs had five different goaltenders lead the team in games played over the past seven seasons.

Ed Belfour was their most recent consistent starter, but he left the club in 2006.

Brian Burke has reportedly inquired about the availability of Jonathan Bernier, who is the Kings' backup

We really do need a consistent #1 goalie; it's been awhile since Eddie.

I'm not sure if we'll get one. In the trade deadline last year, Burke said he'll do one thing to help, but he ends up making a couple minor trades. I wouldn't be surprised if he does nothing.
