Philip Rivers - QB - Chargers
The Union-Tribune San Diego's Kevin Acee thinks 2013 is Philip Rivers' "final audition" with the Chargers.
Acee bases this on San Diego's decision not to restructure the 31-year-old's contract despite being up against the cap. Rivers has three years left on a seven-year, $98.25 million deal, and he's set to count $17.1 million against the cap in 2013. He has turned the ball over 47 times and has been sacked 79 times over the last two seasons. If Rivers doesn't get some help up front, things may not change much. The new front office and coaching staff also have no ties to Rivers.

They also can't restructure his contract because it would just severely backload the contract and make the third year even worse on the CAP. Which backs up this guy's theory that they might cut him after 2013.
