Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald signed a restructured contract with the Cardinals, apparently relieving them of his $18 million cap hit the team was scheduled to take in 2014.
According to multiple reports, Fitzgerald's base salary was reduced to $1 million and he received an $11.75 million signing bonus. That shrunk his cap hit to $8.6 million for 2014, but, at the same time, increased his annual cap hit by $2.35 million each year.

Man, I really wanna see Fitz playing with a good NFL QB at some point before he gets too old.

Damn I always felt Fitz was wasted out there in Arizona. I wanted to see him with a big time QB. Ever since Kurt Warner retired, the Cardinals just haven't been able to find an adequate replacement for him. I agree with cheato, hes not elite anymore, not like he once was.
