The Lakers agreed to terms with 6-foot-7 swingman Wesley Johnson on a one-year deal Saturday for the veteran's minimum of $1 million.

Johnson, 26, was the fourth pick in the 2010 draft and played last season with Phoenix, where he averaged eight points and 19.1 minutes.

His playing time increased when Lindsey Hunter was promoted to head coach near the midpoint of last season. Johnson had a season-high 15 points in a March game against Atlanta.

The Lakers are also trying to sign Jordan Farmar but are in involved in a complicated buyout negotiation with his pro team in Turkey.

Decent signing. Might do well in D'Antoni's offense and get some nice looks, that is assuming they don't suck for the first 2 months and fire him.

What are the actual expectations for the Lakers this season?

Pau Gasol is still a real good player, Steve Nash is still a little above average, Jordan Hill is an underrated player, and they have other options in Blake, Jamison, HIll, Jamison, Kaman, Meeks, and Young.

How long is Kobe out?

I think Jamison's a free agent.

The Lakers lineup, starting next season should look like this. 1. Nash 2. Meeks 3. Johnson 4. Hill 5. Pau. Let Pau post up as a center. Hill hits the boards hard. As soon as McHale came to Houston, Jordan Hill got a lot better. I'm glad the Lakers have him.

Wes Johnson will only start as long as his shots fall, but he's never gotten it going he could lose out to somebody within a few games.

I really think they'll give Pau the start at Center.

I like this signing. I think there looking for players to flood the wings and get up and down the court. I know they should be bringing CDR into camp. Im intrigued for what the final lineup will be. This team could surprise everyone or tank like everyone;s expectations.

Lineup looks like:

C - Pau Gasol (Better fit at the center than the 4.)
PF - Jordan Hill (Decent range and hard rebounder
SF - ??? (Position of for grabs by Nick Young, Wesley Johnson and CDR)
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Steve Nash
6 - Chris Kaman.

Its a solid roster. Dallas didnt make many moves to improve and Denver slipped. Could finish anywhere from 6 and down.

I actually would like to see the Lakers bring back Lamar Odom.  I know he hasn't been no where near himself since leaving the Lakers & if I was LA I wouldn't give him a lot of money but I think him just returning to the Lakers and all his friends on the team could spark something inside of him.  As for their season and where they finish I think that depends on when Kobe returns and how good he is after he returns.

IF this is what lineup they decide to go with they better start Nick Young over Wesley Johnson because that dude simply can't ball and I wouldn't be surprised to see him out of the league in a couple more years.  However maybe playing w/Kobe his long time friend & workout buddy could inspire him to get better as maybe he'll learn how to dribble, pass and actually attack the basket,
