Los Angeles Times NFL writer Sam Farmer believes there's a "70 percent" chance that the lockout will cost the league games this season.
Farmer says the "key date" in NFL developments will be roughly August 15 -- three weeks before the scheduled start of the season. "If camps are still closed at that point," writes Farmer, "you can bet games will either be pushed back or scrubbed." The idea is that the NFL needs three weeks to prepare if it's going to have Week 1. Farmer also expects the owners to get the "better deal" in a new CBA, and the players to make the most concessions.
With all the recent news to come out, i don't know why the players just dont take whats on the table.

Stop holding out for more, sheesh.

I'm getting tired of it. Tired of hearing about it. If it costs the NFL games that won't be good, either.

Just get it done.

Yeah, they said the viewers of the draft was down and something to do with NFL.com, like they haven't had as many people go to the site compared to previous years so it has already started.
