If any of you had their doubts out there, you were dead-ass wrong.

The San Diego Chargers and running back LaDanian Tomlinson have come to an agreement to restructure the all-pro's contract...providing the team with enough cap relief. Terms were not available but the deal keeps L.T. in a San Diego uniform for at least the next 3 seasons.

"I love San Diego and being a part of this team with my teammates," Tomlinson said in a statement released by the team Tuesday evening. "My No. 1 priority was to stay here in San Diego. I truly believe this is the place that gives me the best chance to be successful and win a championship. I want to finish the job we started when I got here eight years ago. My heart has always been in San Diego. I couldn't imagine putting on another uniform." -AE

I had my suspicions, but as time went on, I realized that he wasn`t going to go anywhere.

LT is actually still on track to make the same 3 year salary...but his contract was restructured to pay more of it toward the end of the deal and save the team money in 2009.

This means LT's contract is now back-loaded and I seriously doubt the team will be willing to fulfill that hefty back-end a couple seasons from now.
